Equestrian

(WTEA)
is
putting
on
a
Summer
Spectacular
Series
consisting
of
three
two
day
shows.
All
three
shows
have
"Local"
Rating
with USEF and be double judged. The
show dates are
May
3th & 4th,
June 28th & June 29th,
and
August
9th
&
10th.
All
three
shows
will
be
held
at the Evergreen
Equestrian
Park,
Monroe
Fairgrounds,
in
Monroe
Washington. Ring classes will be held in the Main Indoor Arena.
Stabling at each show will be in the
permanent barns. All stalls will be bedded when you arrive and have solid
latching doors for each stall. Group Stabling is available. The
Stalls must be requested and paid for as a group 7 days prior to the show.

Shows
will
start
promptly
at
7:30
AM
on Saturday and Sunday with Showmanship. Stalls are available
starting at 5:00 PM Friday night before the show. All stalls will be
locked the night before the show, except the stalls requested for overnight use.
Those requests must be made one week
before
the
show starts.
The
Office
will
be
open
Friday
night
before
the
show
from
6:00
-
7:30
PM
for
pre-registration.
The
Show
office
will
be
open
at
7:00
AM
each
day
of
the
show.
Visa
and
MasterCard
are
accepted
at
the
show
and
also
on
line. To guarantee entry into the first five classes each day, please pick
up or process your entries the night before. Click her for

Placings will be given to 8th place and
ribbons to 5th. Leadline, and Walk Trot 10 & Under will
receive ribbons to 8th. First Place Awards will be various types of dishes
and a carrot for your horse. Those exhibitors not desiring a ribbon may
elect to receive a $0.50 coupon that can be exchanged for cash in the office or
used to purchase food at the concession stand. If exhibitors choose not to
receive First Place Awards, they my elect to receive a $2.50 coupon that can be
exchanged for cash in the office or used to purchase food at the concession
stand.
This year Windy Tides will be awarding High Point Awards in 15 Divisions.
You
must
show
in
either
Halter
or
Showmanship
to
qualify
for
the
individual
show
High
Point
Awards in English, Western, and Walk Trot as well as the Overall
Series High Point Award.
The calculations for English and Western High Point are based on your top six placings
with all ties being broken by your age group equitation class. Show High
Point awards will be awarded to the following: English Walk Trot 10 &
Under, English Walk Trot Open, English Novice Open, English 13 & Under, English
14-17, English 18 - 30, English 31 & Over, Saddle Seat - Open; Western Walk
Trot 10 & Under, Western Walk Trot Open, Western Novice Open, Western 13 &
Under, Western 14-17, Western 18 - 30, Western 31 & Over. There must be 3 qualified exhibitors in a
division before it is awarded. Windy Tides reserves the right to combine
High Point Divisions if divisions do not fill. The Series High Point
Award will be Awarded immediately after the August Show.
USEF
approved
Helmets
with
chin
strap
are
required
for
all
English
riders
17
and
under.
All
exhibitors
must
wear
boots.
Hats
are
required
that
are
appropriate
for
the
seat
you
are
competing
in. Helmets may be warn by any exhibitor in any class and will not be
penalized by the judges.
If you are under 18, your
parents MUST sign the release BEFORE you can get a number at the show.
We suggest you download the back side of the release and sign it at home.
You must sign as the trainer if you do not have a trainer. This is
just the person responsible for the horse. Bring it to the office to pick up your
number. Or, if they will not be at the show when you are picking up your Exhibitor
Packet, please have them fill out a Signature Designation Form.

Trail will be offered from 10:00 AM
to
4:00
PM
with a lunch break for the judge from 12:00 - 12:30 PM at
all
shows
in
the
covered
outdoor
arena. Saturday classes will be English Trail and Sunday classes
will be Western Trail.
This year the Course Designers are as

Olney.
Pattern Books containing the
patterns used for showmanship, horsemanship, reining, and western riding
will be available at the show. If you order and PAY FOR THEM
on line they are $3.00 each. If you wait and buy them at the show they are
$5.00 each.
